Yes. Your deposit is 100% refundable regardless of when you book, from the moment you pay it until the final payment deadline 5 weeks before the trip. At that point you will have the choice whether to pay your balance or cancel your booking and receive a full refund for all monies paid so far. For more info see our covid promise page.

If the trip is unable to go ahead, then you would receive a full cash refund. No vouchers, no time limits, no claiming on insurance, just money straight into your bank account.

The main accommodation is Jardin de la Balme located in the centre of val d’Isere. It offers a good standard of 3* self catered accommodation, with a variety of rooms sizes from 3 - 7 in size. It’s situated a short walk from both the lifts and the nightlife. DWS will be taking over the whole building, so imagine a College on the snow.

It’s up to you. Once everyone has paid in full, we will contact you and ask who you want to share apartments with. Apartments vary in size from 3-7, and where your group is made up of multiple apartments, we’ll even do our best to keep you next door to each other.

Yes! While our main hub will be in Jardin de la Balme which is a good standard of accommodation, we understand that some people may want to upgrade to slightly nicer apartments. All you need to do is drop us an email at hello@durhamskiweek.com and we’ll give you more info on accommodation upgrades, and how to book it.

The base price doesn’t include travel, giving you the complete freedom to choose your preferred transport method. We are offering coach travel from Durham, London or Dover as well as airport transfers from Geneva, Lyon or Grenoble. Flights are very cheap this week of the season, so many will choose to organise their own flights, and take advantage of our reduced price transfers. It’s currently possible to pay less for flights and transfers than for coach travel if you book quickly.

Yes, we have taken a lead in the industry to include carbon offsetting for all passengers who travel with us! Supporting renewable energy projects in the developing world, last year we offset 3,750 tonnes of CO2 which is the equivalent of taking 735 cars off the road for a whole year!

Covid or no Covid, there will be disco! No one knows exactly what will be possible come April time, but what we do know is as long as the trip is able to go ahead, we’ll be doing everything we can to get you dancing.
